FOOD: Marriot Hotel Buffet

Here's a quick post on food. A Christmas Party event held at Marriot Hotel, near the Resort World Manila last December. And a food blogger in me had to get the shot!

Marriot Hotel, being a five-star hotel offers a wide range of food, mouthwatering and really good food.

 Dessert Galore!

 Strawberry Tart, Brownies, Chocolate Mousse etc.

 Yumyum! Seafood Galore

Shrimp, Salmon, Dory all cooked with different twist!

  A Tasteful Plate! Yum!

 Mashed Potato, Beef .

 Drooling..

Dessert again!

Forgot to include the mobile bar in the event. Unlimited drink. Hooray to that! One of which is my favorite is the white wine. Overall, with the food I can give Marriot buffet 8 out of 10. Kudos to the food, the appetizers ad the unlimited drinks.

FOOD: Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant | SM Mall of Asia

Located at San Miguel By the Bay. Seaside Boulevard at SM Mall of Asia, Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant, offers a wide range of food. It has a hotel quality buffet as others would say. Photos courtesy of my BF's sister. Can't tell my personal experience with Vikings since I haven't tried it myself but the review was based on my friends who have tried it. So all I can provide you are the pictures. See it for yourself!

The cost for an eat all you can buffet in Vikings is Php 1,088 / Php 888(before) and you are allowed to stay for 3 hours during lunch time or dinner. Better have your reservations since they are jam packed with guests especially during weekends.

HOW TO GET TO VIKINGS, SM MALL OF ASIA?

If you're going to SM MOA via commute, you can ride at the terminal going to Mall of Asia at the Gil Puyat/Buendia. Coming from North (Bulacan, caloocan, malabon etc), you can ride the LRT Monumento going to Baclaran. Take off at the Gil Puyat Station. Leave the LRT station on the right stairs,(the one going to Pasay not to Makati). You will see orange jeepneys designated for SM Moa passengers. When you are in SM Mall of Asia, go to the San Miguel By the Bay area (the one nearer the Manila Bay), and from there, Vikings is just around the corner. You can also ask the guard around the mall.

Come and Visit Vikings. SM Mall of Asia... Happy eating!

FOOD: Basix, Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati

Dusit Thani Hotel Restaurant called Basix located in Makati offers an Eat-All-You-Can Buffet with a wide variety of international cuisine that the whole family can enjoy. We went there to celebrate a niece birthday, and indeed the ambience created mood that all of us really enjoyed. For only PHP1000 up each( I forgot the exact amount), one can taste seafoods, oysters, sushi, japanese foods, grilled meats and variety of appetizers and salad. Chefs are always ready to cook fresh seafoods as you order. Definitely a must-try for foodie like me!

Interiors:

Basix Restaurant can accomodate 170 persons (according to their site) and during our stay, we were only like 50 persons inside so you can enjoy fine dine in, and privacy. The interiors was good, but I like more the interiors of buffet 101 at SM MOA. But since it is inside the hotel, you can also enjoy a sweet roaming around the hotel (only on the ground floor).

And after eating,  here is what you can expect inside the hotel..Interiors! Love love love..

Verdict:

• Food was good.
• The ambience is good
• Not so spacious
• Very nice presentation of food that you will love putting it on your plate :-)
• Kinda expensive but expected since it's dusit thani! Come on!

FOOD: Buffet 101 International Cuisine Restaurant, Eat All You Can

Buffet 101 International Cuisine is an Eat All You Can Restaurant in San Miguel By the bay, SM Mall of Asia.It offers internationational cusine as its name implied, such as chinese food, japanese food, american food etc. Desserts are also served. A great experience for a foodie like me!

 Me and Buffet 101's intricate interiors as my background.

 This section is for the chinese food, such as wantons, siomai, dimsum, steamed fresh shrimp etc. See, fresh shrimps are inside the aquarium. You can request it to be cooked right in front of  you!

Pastas..

Singapores Fish ball, fish cake, noodles, crab stick etc.

Mango Cheesecakes, Blueberry Cheesecake. Mocha Cheesecake for dessert! Yum.! Yum! It has candles since its my bf's niece birthday!

The experience was all worth it. I left with full stomach. For only PHP800 per person, it's reasonable for all the food you can taste. Just a tip, avoid eating rice so you can taste all the dishes! I forgot to include the refreshments on the pics, but all were availlable, such as fresh watermelon, mango, carrot shake, coffee, softdrinks, iced tea etc..

Come and visit and experience dining at Buffet 101. You will feel that you were inside the hotel with it's intricate interiors.
