TRAVELS: 2 Newly Married Couple in Boracay

This blog has been quiet for a long time now. I have been busy with preps for my wedding which actually happened last month! I am till now astonished on how this has impacted my life. New place to live in, more time with the husband since we are living on the same house now and also more time on the Home/Appliances Store than Makeup store :-)

Nevertheless, this changes really made me a happy wife! I love how we adjust just to make sure we wont have a major fight as a new husband and wife.

Just wanna share with you our vacation in Boracay! I know i have posted a lot of my previous travels in Boracay but this is one is different since its now Official! We travel as a married couple now and still the after effect of this fairy tale was still in us! So this trip is really a special one :-)

I now present to you the beautiful island of Boracay!

Though we do visited this place thrice now, we will never gonna get tired of visiting this place again. The clarity of the water is just amazing.. The sand are super fine. We love how the place was maintained though more establishments are now in the area. Hope this will not ruin this paradise on earth.

This time around we didn't have any activities in this island like fly fish, banana boat etc. We just love how we can just lay on the shore and see the beauty of this place before our eyes. Enjoying is the scenery and have some quality time with your loved ones is still the best activity for me to do in this island. Hope to see you soon Boracay! Our first travel as Husband and wife!

Beauty: MAC Strobe Cream

Hello Ladies!!Back to blogging again!

For those who are reading my previous posts, you will know how i love dewy makeup look! I am fascinated whenever I see those korean pop stars who always have that illuminating skin.

A vain spirit in me again relive!! Introducing MAC Strobe Cream...At first I don't know what this cream is for? But due to my researching skills, I found out that this is what I am looking for!

Mac Strobe Cream

MAC Strobe is a moisturizer. packed with fruit extracts and anti oxidants. This can be used before you put in the foundation. It can also be used as a highlighter on your face.

It is kinda pricey though. This cost me 1800Php which I think is a splurge. The MUA dabbed this on my cheeks using stippling and I was sold after I saw the effects on me!

An ample amount of the Mac Strobe Cream

Tried to spread it out but It doesn't look good on the photos

In the picture, it has white casts but it will fade eventually and will turn into pearl-like luminance on your face.

 My verdict overall is:
  • It stands to what it promises
  • it can be combined with your foundation for the dewy effect
  • It is not suitable for those with oily skin
  • Perfect during cold days to retain moisture on the skin
  • pricey though
I will use this on my future makeup gigs!

Fashion: Friday Madness

I know, my recent posts were all dedicated to fashion. I don't why but my love for fashion surpass my love for makeup. I love makeup but I am now love just keeping the basics with makeup. My internet most frequent visits are now on fashion blogs! So please keep on reading my blog though its now becoming a fashion blog. Nevertheless, will post makeup posts soon!

For this look, since here in Manila we are now experiencing rainy season so I opt for more comfy get-up. The thing i love this outfit is the denim jacket I incorporated with a simple pink pants.

Denim jacket is a very versatile piece. You can pair it with a dress for a more summer look. Or during cold days with skinny pants.

Please hype this look on lookbook:

Fashion: Summer Breeze

I love this skirt from Apartment 8! It explodes summer colors! The spring design of the skirt really made it more perfect as a summer skirt!
I paired the skirt with black shirt to tone down the theme of the skirt and nude wedge. As for accessories, you can wear it with pearl or dangling earrings! Perfect look!

Fashion: Summer Hues

I am currently in love with the color blocking theme in fashion. There is something in wearing colors that makes me feel happy! This in particular combination is one of my favorite. Blue and green is such a wonderful colors to combine. Its like the sea meets with the trees. Very summery isn't it?

Presenting this little combo I am wearing! The silk top in green paired with this royal blue skirt from Forever 21 is such fun outfit! The bow of the top makes it more girly and I feel like a school girl.

That would be all for now ladies! Till our next ootd session!

Floral skirt and pink blazer! Good thing this outfit really compliment each other. Perfect to liven up the gloomy weather we have here in the Philippines!

Wearing Forever 21 Pink Blazer and floral skirt!

I know neutral colors are the usual color of clothes for the office. However, injecting colors into your outfit makes it more fashionable.

Travels: Avenue of Stars Hong Kong

Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong is where you can check the famous stars walk of fame of Hong Kong like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. This is to give tribute to Hong Kong's Film Industry.

Located at Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong is one of the tourist attraction in the country. This is also inspired by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Main attraction in here is the Symphony of lights which features the amazing light show.

The weather was freezing cold during our visit thus you can see how foggy it is in the picture.

This statuesque is like those of Oscars I guess..

The lights of the buildings are really breathtaking.

Till our next travel!

Fashion: Sheinside Blush Dress

Love love this dress from Sheinside. Perfect as a Dress for weddings and other events.

The muted pink color of the dress, intricate beading on top and the flare botton of this dress is what makes this perfect for any event.

This soft blush dress has been featured by my favorite Filipina Fashion bloggers such as Kryz Uy and Camille Co.

The muted pink color, flare bottom and intricate design on top is just gorgeous! For a change, I worn it with belt so that it will not look so straight. Just to add up some curve.

Another style inspiration coming from the ever stylish Kim Kardashian. This reality superstar/mom/ entrepreneur is making waves when it comes to fashion. Second to my favorite Olivia Palermo who is my style icon.

In the office today, I recreate Kim"s sophisticated yet stylish look. Here it is!

Fashion: Royal Blue Skirt

A First time for me to post an OOTD ( Outfit of the Day). I am a fan of several fashion blogs such as those of camille co, kayture.com, kryz uy etc and I've always wanted to have a fashion blog though I know that my closet will not be enough to pursue that dream. Currently I am more into Fashion than Make-up. I don't know why but maybe since my brother loves watching ANTM, Project Runway etc., and so my love for Fashion has began.

Apology if this shot was very amateur. Only used a camera phone to capture this picture. Got fascinated that one of my office outfit is the same with 1 of our local celebrity! Take a look!

Royal blue skirt combined with green floral top is just so cute! This type of skirt I saw worn by Olivia Palermo (my style icon) but only in white. I just saw how versatile this skirt is, since you can pair it with just a white shirt for more of a casual look, chambray or any flowy top! Perfect for summer!

Thanks for reading guys!

Beauty: Inglot Freedom Palette

Inglot has finally arrived in PH! I might be too late to explore this new brand but I have always wanted to try Inglot! Their freedom palette are my favorite! You can combine different shades of your choice and have it customized just for you! You can combine a lippie, blush and eyeshadow in 1 palette! Great is'nt it? More space on your makeup kit of course!

Finally got to own 1 palette. Combination of 2 eyeshadows and 1 blush! I am in love with coral look, thus this palette really rocks!

Comes in a magnetic case which I know any makeup junkie would love!

The only downside is if you are not a fan of not having a mirror in a makeup then this will not suit you. However, if this is not issue then this is a really nice addition to your makeup kit. It saves up space on your kit! No need to bring separate eyeshadow, lipstick and blush on because this palette got it all for you. There are a lot of palette to choose from! This just the only one I got since I do have some lippies that I need to finish up!

Get yours now ladies! Enjoy. #inglotph

TRAVEL: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum HK

Madame Tussauds is on my bucket list of places-to-see in Hong Kong. I am really a Fan of Museums, I love art, I love sculptures and thus when I got the chance to visit HK, I see to it that this will be the first place I will visit.

Located at the Peak where you can view the city of Hong Kong, this tourist attraction is about 15minutes from the Hong Kong MTR Central Station.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has over 100 wax figures that composes of World leaders, celebrities, athletes, artists, scientists and more.  In here, you will be astonished on how the wax figures really looked like the real one. You can readily have your pictures taken with the famous personalities via their wax figures such as Michael Jackson, Audrey Hepburn, Madonna and more!

Take a glimpse of how the wax figure is being made. This actual mold where the head and hands are placed. You can see how intricate the details are, from the the eyelids, eyebrows, pupil, shape of the eyes, nose etc (see below picture).

The left part of the wax figure is almost done, while the other half was not fully done. You can see how artists made this wax figure so realistic that you won't think twice if is the real thing or not.. This particular wax figure is the leading character from the "IP Man" movie.

Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love that movie and Audrey Hepburn is my idol. I love her fashion style, her beauty and her aura. This might be one of my fave wax figure!

With the beatles, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and a showbiz correspondent :-)

Of course! With the Queen of Pop, Madonna!

My Idol, Michael Jackson in the house!

Overall, this experience is just fun fun fun!! Their wax figures might not be real but the fact that this wax figures really looked like those famous people is an art of its kind. You can touch the wax figures, look at them, feel them as if they are the real thing! Clap clap clap to the artists who create this wonderful figures.

There you go guys! Add this on your must-see places in Hong Kong! Plus, you get to experience to ride the Peak Tram going here which is enjoyable!

Till our next trip!

TRAVEL: Ngong Ping 360 Hong Kong

3rd day of our Hong Kong Trip is to visit the Ngong Ping 360,  a must-see attraction in Hongkong and also gateway to Lantau Island.

At the picture above, it is the Cable Car that will be your way going to the Ngong Ping Village and see it on your own eyes the Largest Buddha. One of my to-do list before is to experience riding a cable car here at Hong Kong and finally got the chance to do it! This cable car will allow you to have a view of the Lantau Island that's why it is called 360. This is also close to the Hong Kong International Airport.

It offers tourist attractions such as the Ngong Ping Village where you can see different Buddhist Temples, Chinese Houses, Restaurants and Buddha. We were able to taste their native delicacies and the Pancit which is also popular in the Philippines. They always have hot tea after every meal which I think is because from what I have experienced, most of their dishes are oily, so a hot tea can eliminate the greasiness after a meal. Also tea, is a healthy way also to lose weight.

Inside the Ngong Ping Village are different landmarks and infrastructure. This one at my back reminds me of some of the Chinese Actions movies familiar scene/spot where there's kung fu fighting or Jackie Chan will just come out anytime. The serenity of the place is just surreal and the weather is just perfect to walk into this beautiful village.

Got to take some picture with this statue that made me think that It will be alive anytime :-)

This place is serene, solemn and calm. A place to pray and just a moment of silence to respect the place and those in the same religion.

At the peak. Giant statues that kneels and prays for the Biggest Buddha.

From my behind is the actual stairways to the Biggest Buddha.

After several steps, finally we arrived at the Peak.

Definitely worth it! This experience makes me experience first hand the culture and the beliefs of Buddhists. We all were different because of the Religion but we are still one. This is one of my most unforgettable experience to-date. The place is just calm and surreal.

A must-see place where you are in Hong Kong. Our first plan was to visit Macau on our 3rd day but instead changed our itinerary to Ngong Ping and it was all worth it!

Till our next trip!

TRAVEL: Hong Kong Disneyland, A Magical Place

Hi Guys!!! I know, it's been months since my last post. I've been very busy with my work and other stuffs. Definitely, I'm back and I really missed blogging so much. Anyways, this post is dedicated on my recent trip in Hong Kong this March. The weather is just freezin cold! And so I need to wear boots! I'm not really used to wearing boots since I am from a Tropical country but in here I got to wear one!

Going back to our 3 days/2 nights trip in Hongkong this March 2014, It was a first time for me and my BF to actually go abroad! And this is just a memorable one! We got to experience different culture and people! Hence, we were literally got excited days before the trip.

HK Disneyland is actually on my first list to visit in Hong Kong since this is nearest Disneyland Resort in the Philippines. HK is about 3 hours plane ride from the Philippines!

We alloted our whole day in Disneyland. This is really a MAGICAL PLACE. A friend once told me that she got teary eyed when she actually got the chance to visit Disneyland. I myself got teary-eyed too! The disney songs such as "A whole new world" "Beauty and the Beast" "Its a small world" brings back childhood memories. And boy, I literally told myself that I will bring my whole family at this place soon.

Oh, this cute chipmunks were so adorable! They were teasing one another and that makes them super cool.

This is the boulevard where you can buy some souvenirs and kiddie stuffs. A bit like our local "enchanted kingdom" in the Philippines.

Wanderin' if Cinderella will come out from that castle :-) The entrance going to the rides.

Who would not want to have a picture with Jessie and Woody! If only my nephews can come here, I know they will be very happy! They are toy story fanatic!

Since we had the whole day to enjoy the park, we actually have tried all the rides. I enjoyed every single moment I've had in this  magical place. Definitely, will be back soon.

Include this in one of your must-visit places. Travel More and Invest more on the experience life has to offer.
Definitely, to Travel is on my bucket list forever!

Thanks for reading guys!
